Mike Wines

Exercise Physiologist, Researcher and Author Mike holds an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and has spent time coaching at the collegiate, professional, and Olympic level. He currently serves as an exercise physiologist and chief science officer.

About this speaker

Mike graduated from the University of South Carolina with his bachelors of science in exercise science and human performance. During his undergraduate career, he interned with multiple collegiate and professional organizations including EXOS (formerly Athlete’s Performance) and the University of South Carolina in which he had the opportunity to work with the 2010 and 2011 World Series championship teams. After his undergraduate studies, Mike worked as a private wellness consultant and strength coach while continuing to oversee several long-term athletic development (LTAD) programs. Mike also worked as the head of content and editorial management for a large-scale fitness website before moving on to graduate studies. He completed his masters in exercise physiology and applied sport science at East Tennessee State University while working under the head of sport biomechanics for the Olympic training site. Mike is currently continuing his education with work in the realms of integrative medicine and sleep science.
