Dr. Bryan Haycock has been involved in bodybuilding for the last four decades, having entered his first bodybuilding competition in 1985. Bryan is probably most well-known for his contributions to the health and fitness industry as a science writer. His writing has appeared in many U.S. and international publications including FLEX, Muscular Development, Muscle & Fitness, Men’s Health, Perfect Body (Poland), and Olympians News (Italy). He also famously introduced a popular set of training principles called Hypertrophy-Specific Training (HST). Bryan holds a B.S. in Psychology, a B.S. in Exercise & Sport Science, an M.S. in Kinesiology, and a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology.
