Dr. Grant Tinsley

Dr. Grant Tinsley is an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University and the Director of the Energy Balance & Body Composition Laboratory. His major research interests are: (1) The effects of intermittent fasting in active populations; (2) The validity and reliability of body composition assessment techniques; (3) The efficacy and effectiveness of sports nutrition strategies, including dietary supplementation. Dr. Tinsley’s research has been published in top research journals, such as The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Nutrition Reviews, and Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise.
