About this Talk

A key concept of Metabolic Flexibility- the use of both fats and carbs- is that health and performance (more muscle, less fat) should be based on adaptability. Those that can adapt faster, will be rewarded with better performance (strength / hypertrophy) and less body fat. If you can burn primarily body fat, your body is adapted in that direction. If you can switch to burn carbs during a high-intensity strength session, you are more adaptable and are "rewarded" by a higher performance / greater stimulus for hypertrophy. If you can switch to burn more fat during a 24 hour fast, you are more adaptable and thus get leaner. How can you harness the power of metabolic flexibly to increase hypertrophy and body composition? Find out in this presentation.
